Adopt-a-highway Program
Twice yearly, church volunteers pick up litter on both sides of a section of Route 16 in Wakefield.

Community Day School
The Day School provides affordable daycare, pre-school and before/after school care for children of Wakefield and surrounding communities from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Episcogolf Tournament
This annual golf tournament held in August provides funds for camp scholarships for children, tuition scholarships for St. John’s Community Day School, and supports various community children’s activities.

Little Ones Ministry
This ministry of the Women’s Guild provides free diapers for families in Wakefield and the surrounding communities available through the Thrift Shop & Gift Shop.

Parish Suppers
Parish Suppers are held from May - September on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The cost per meal is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for Children.

Prison Ministry
Each year, in conjunction with the diocese, we gather and distribute toys for the families of prisoners.

Thrift & Gift Shop
The Thrift & Gift Shop carries a variety of clothing, household items, jewelry, religious gifts and books. The shop is located on the lower floor of the Parish Hall. The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday and Saturday.

Alcoholics Anonymous
AA holds a Step Meeting and an Open Speakers Meeting on Thursdays in the Parish House. A 12-step Eucharist is held on the second Thursday of each month.

Vacation Bible School
Each summer, the Wakefield area churches sponsor an ecumenical Vacation Bible Study for all the children of the community.
